2013 Nissan NV200 Rolls Into Chicago Auto Show

The Nissan NV200 utility van has been popular across the globe for quite a while now, but it's been absent in the U.S. auto market until now. The van recently premiered at the February 2012 Chicago Auto Show, alongside the new Nissan Pathfinder concept and the updated 2013 Nissan 370Z.

A recent press release from Nissan explains the NV200's upcoming position in the market and states, "The Nissan NV200 provides a new entry point for current cargo van and small pickup buyers looking for a compact, efficient alternative to their larger, less fuel-efficient vehicles. It is set to join the growing lineup of Nissan Commercial Vehicles in early 2013 at 300 Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealerships nationwide. The NV200 follows the Nissan NV Cargo, introduced in spring 2011, and the recently announced Nissan NV Passenger that goes on sale this spring."1

The Nissan NV200 is currently in use in over forty countries across the world, and its known for its innovative design and excellent, diverse functionality. It features a larger cargo area, which allows for loading standard 40 x 48-inch pallets. It also features several integrated mounting points, which allow for the installation of shelves and racks with no drilling involved. However, despite its roominess, the NV200 manages to produce a very small carbon footprint. It's compact and features an 2.0-liter sixteen-valve DOHC 4-cylincder engine, paired with a next-generation Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission. Now, you can have space and functionality for your family or business without the huge gas bill.

The NV200 should be making its way to dealerships like Vaden Nissan of Statesboro, located at 807 S. Main Street Statesboro, GA 30458, in the near future, so stay tuned for more updates soon!
